The proceedings will be published within one year after the conference, as a special issue of Radiation Measurements. All manuscripts will be evaluated by two referees and have to meet the journal acceptance criteria. Manuscripts can be rejected in the course of the evaluation process. The same quality level is expected for a SSD18 paper as for a paper in a regular issue of RM. There are no fixed page limits, but we would normally expect regular conference papers not to exceed six journal pages. Please keep the submissions concise and only include tables and figures that are essential.

For a word template to judge the length of your manuscript please click HERE, a general Elsevier LaTeX template is available at this site. Guide for authors can be found here.

Only manuscripts about work that was presented at the conference can be submitted for the special issue. Please state your abstract ID in the cover letter as reference.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, it is important that you select "SI:SSD18" when you reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process:

Deadline for manuscript submission is 15 September 2016.
